Our cars yes, but like I say, newer cars now have lost that function and you get an obligatory 3 flash lane change indication. It can be defeated by putting the indicator on full, (no half pressure thing), and then immediately turning it off again, but that is easily translated into confusing indication should you not get it right, and basically a pain to have to do.
