There is a reasonable coastal pathway to it but I don't believe you can get a car close by as the adjacent houses and road are all on gated private property.
I parked close to the Portishead Sailing club and the walk was less than 1/2 a mile.
There is quite a steep hill as you move inland which I would expect would make any radio work very directional towards the north and west.
