Got the Bear's EML sorted out. Took her to MJS who plugged her in, the fault code was 1633 and reading voltage drop/poor earth. Well they checked everything electrical. And the light stayed on.
Done the battery disconnection and left it off for about 20 minutes. Re-connected the battery and the light stayed on. Finally they traced the bad connection to the earth cable from battery to boot floor. Removed, cleaned and re-attached. No more EML. Drove home sweet as a nut.
But she is still For Sale.
