One of my pet hates is seeing illegally spaced number plates & people who have used a different font to deliberately make a number look like a letter (eg a number 5 that looks like a letter S).
When I purchased my Arden Green 75 Conn SE & once I had handed over the cash, to the seller's dismay the very first thing I did was to peel off the two Black caps that had been stuck on the number plate in between the numbers/letters (Pic below).
The number plate read V6*75*ROV (I've used stars as dots but you get the idea - all the spacing was correct by the way).
It then read V675 ROV.
It was only a small thing I know but it still reads as intended.
