Hi Tom , I Agree , Please do a hard reboot, sounds like something with Firmware

I have done that.

I will definitely try no reversing until the head unit has completed the boot up process.

Also tried that.

I remember reading in the instructions when I got the unit, that it should be powered down before turning the car off.
If we don't do this, is this having a detrimental effect on the system?

Tried that as well, the end result after trying all the above useful suggestions is that I still have the problem.

Any further suggestions please?
