Sadly, the wife has been coerced into buying a new Ford Fiesta so her Streetwise is up for sale.
Purchased in January 2012, the dealer replaced the head gasket and timing belt before we took it away. A month later they replaced the bottom end.
In the last few months it has had a new inlet manifold gasket, two new front tyres, rear brake pads. Nick at Austin Garage has replaced the CVT box bearing and renewed the oil, replaced hatchback wiring loom that feeds parking sensors, reverse lights and central locking, and refurbed the leaky sunroof so it's good as new.
Apparently this model is quite rare as it has aircon, reversing sensors, tilt & slide electric sunroof, electric door mirrors, front fogs. I've never found another in the last 2 and a half years with all this spec.
Bodywork is excellent on the whole; one wheel arch scuff and one paint chip (that was present at purchase) is all I can find. Oh it also has a new screenwash reservoir, new front driver side wing and new front bumper after the missus has a run in with the garage wall hahhaaa!
So that's the good points, now the not so good.
Interior clock/traffic master display does not work.
Mid and rear section exhaust needs replacing - it's not blowing as it passed the MOT, but the baffles have corroded in the silencers and they rattle about.
Expansion tank needs topping up every week or two. No idea why, no gunk on the dipstick or oil cap.
See pictures.
So...£700+ spent in the last couple of months...taxed until end of December, MOT til January 15.
£800
ooops sorry about huge pics
Oh and it's a 53 plate
