How long was the drive? I doubt that it was long enough to fully charge your battery. If you don't achieve this after a discharge, not only will the battery let you down again but its life will be shortened. Car batteries like to be fully charged at all times.
You'd be well advised to connect a mains powered smart charger for at least 24 hours, preferably a bit more.
