Mostly I am insect hunting so I go out hand holding. If I see a flower or berry I'll take quite a few shots hand holding and hope one nails it. Good idea with a peg, I sometimes try to steady a flower with things to hand.
If I was indoors and had static subject then I would go tripod, set up good lighting, slower shutter etc.
Many people have heard me screaming ******** wind as I creep around the bushes.

Watermarks can be added by Lightroom on export (text or graphic) and copyright added to metadata on import. It is pretty simple and anyone wishing to find out more can do a quick Google. (Ref: other thread)
