alot of things are claiming to be HD at the moment, but a resolution of 480 x 800 is good for an in car dvd player But hardly HD as the minimum to be HD is technicaly 720 x 1280 allowing for reproduction of 720 progresive and 1080 interlaced source material with full HD being 1080 x 1920 and 2K being 2043 x 1080.
WOW I bored myself that time, and yes I know I am a geek but it is the industry I work in.
