A problem with either the airbag (yellow) or pre tensioner (blue) wiring will bring the fault light up. Another possible cause is the impact sensors under the carpets, if they get wet corrosion kills them! I'd advise getting the car on a T4 if possible, it will take all the guesswork and frustration out of finding the cause. I thought I'd cured an airbag light only for it to return, I gave up and had the car T4'd, turned out to be nothing to do with the wiring, it was a defective pre tensioner.
