Pot luck, service history means nothing IMO, especially when cars go above 80/90k miles, its so easy to fake a boot and some receipts from ebay its shocking.
IMO, id love a diesel BUT for my miles atm petrol is fine. Plus you can not beat that feeling of passing a boy racer in his Saxo bodykit special in 2nd gear with the V6 at full chat.
