A quick update. After doing multiple checks and tests I have found that by removing fuse 3 from inside the cabin fuses (the cigar lighter fuse) the resting current drain drops to 0.082 both with the car locked and alarmed and unlocked.
With the fuse replaced I get a reading of 0.183 now I have a fuel burning heater that is activated by a text message and the unit that controls this gets it's supply from fuse 3. Has anyone done a drain test on a Diesel and does 0.08ish look about right? Cheers, Dave
