That's a very good point you made Paul. Thank you

By coincidence, I also have placed twigs at different heights above our home made bird table and allowed a section of a hedge to grow wild around around and above the table, creating a bird grotto. The twigs also helps the birds strategically, hop from one twig to the other, checking to see if one of the cats is going to be there or not.

Another tip I just remembered, is to leave out a big sausage on the grass, for a bird of prey to swoop in and take
