New brake pipes
What tool do you guys use to bend pipes neatly , next jobbie is to knock up some new pipes to the rear of the Zed.

Unless you are planning to drop the fuel tank to replace the rear brake pipes the chances are you are going to have to bend the brake pipes with your fingers as you work the pipes around the tank. You have to feed the nearside pipe through above the tank and bend it as you put it into situ You then have the fight of clipping the brake pipes back into the clips
You won't go far wrong with a Sykes-Pickavant pipe bender though Last edited by TourerSteve; 2nd March 2022 at 08:20.. |

Will most likely drop the tank a bit,but will see how that goes,,, but its all wet N Windy again .. so on hold ..

Hmmm, mines just failed MOT on corroded rear brake pipes, one burst on brake
test so have had to leave garage to replace both, just wondering how they will deal with fuel tank. On the plus side am I relieved it let go whilst I was not driving!
