I am so sad
Washed and waxed my car the weekend before last and it beads fantastically when wet. Even when driving the beads don't go away, they just wobble a bit when I look at them on the bonnet. I've not been much over 50 mph while they've been there but it fascinates me to see them jiggling about. Now whenever I'm parked up amongst other cars I look at them but never see any others like this. I even walked all the way round the Homebase car park today looking for another beaded car. How sad am I?

Fred it is interesting seeing which cars have been looked after, and you can tell the one's which have been cleaned, polished and waxed. I tend to use a good wax on my little MGF, after weeks of cleaning and last thing to go on is a good quality wax, by hand, leaving it for about an hour before buffing off, and the beading is amazing, and it does seem to last for a while

*Sighs*... Summer can't get here fast enuff for our Fred innit.. He really does need to get out a lot more.. heh heh...
I got talked into buying some stuff called "Perl" at one of our N-W meetings. Mixed it with the requisite amount of water, sprayed it all over the car engine, and six months later it still looks a mess innit...... I keep meaning to take it in to get it valeted properly, but would then be stuck two miles from home wiv with no car all day innit... The peeps at the valetin places should gimme a lift home innit.... But they wont.... So It wont get done willit... Life gets tedious if ya let it innit... ... |
