Default My good deed for today.

Well today I gave a forever home to Alfie. He is a 7(ish) month old Westie,

He was born in a puppy farm before being shipped into a rescue centre.
He suffers from separation anxiety and is very wary around people. But I'm sure he will be settled into his new home soon enough. Those of you who attend the Midlands Nano may already know my other 2 westies, I will have the 3 of them at the next meet.

Lovely looking fella though.

What a lovely looking puppy. Lucky to have landed a good caring home. Enjoy as he will too.
Well done mate.

Thanks Chris. He is the latest in a long line of westies we have helped. I like dogs a lot more than I like people!

Just got back from a very (7 mile) walk, Alfie behaved himself well and his recall is excellent. He is a vocal chap, but that is to be expected with him being from a puppy farm and then kennels.
I've already got him on a new diet which should calm him down a little and he has even took some treats out of a flat hand.
