Default Vehicle MOT & advisory check.

A above, what is the easiest way, or can someone possibly help out to check past MOT's and advisories on a vehicle. A 03 plate X-type 3.0 V6 to be exact. I only have the Reg. No. by the way.

Going locally for £800 looks in good nick but one never knows.

Thanks
Craig.

Thank you for the speedy replies.

Just checked, badly maintained and lost of corrosion.

Interesting OdO readout goes from 104 000 to 180 000 back to 119 000 the next year. Dyslexic MOT man??

This video shows how bad an xtype can corrode.

The car in this video had no advisories on the previous year's mot and no visible indicators of rust either.

I'd advise watching with the sound down, the state of the car came as a surprise - it was supposed to be a routine pre mot check with no expectation of finding any problems.

They aren't rot boxes. You get good ones and bad ones like any car. Mine is a 56 plate with 105,000 on the clock. No rust underneath. Like any old car, check it thoroughly, underneath as well as above.
