Headlight Washers
My ZT 190+ has headlamp washers and I noticed last night that only three of them are spraying fluid.
Is there a separate pump for each or is there a single pump for all 4? In the latter case then it is possible I simply have a blocked washer nozzle?. David |

Likely to be blocked at nozzle? Clear that with a pin I guess, but could tube be blocked further along the line? How to reach and clear that?

There is no obligation to have them even with HIDs - but if they are there - they must work. For ordinary headlights - the tester cannot fail you if the headlight washers don't work. This is a new requirement for HIDs but you will only get an advisory for this - not a fail, until April. |

You may have missed the point that I was trying to make. Perhaps I did not phrase it correctly. You may well have just passed with no advisories under the current 2011 rules - but if you don't fix the washers - you will not pass again (under the new 2012 rules that start on the 3rd Jan) after they stop giving an advisory for such new things during the introductory period up to April 2012. Happy New Year :xmas-smiley-004: |
