Symphony radio Service Mode

Hi
I can get my radio into service mode but cannot get to enable or disable the speed related volume
How do I do this as the only information I can get to is

When in service mode
the first display is the serial number
Press right tape forward button goes to display sv150-148
Press right tape forward button again display goes to Gal 1 (can be changed from 1 to 4 by pressing channel store buttons from 1 to 4
The last press of right tape button display goes to the last frequency and an Fnumber

There is nothing in the service information about enabling or disabling it, only altering the sensitivity between GAL 1 and GAL 4.

I have changed this to 4 but does not seem to make any difference. Is there a kbus conection required on the back of the radio to enable it. I Thought I read in a previous message it could be enabled or disabled. If so how

It is via the K Bus, the White/Red/Yellow cables in the 20 pin mini ISO connector.

How do you get into the service mode on the Symphony unit anyway??
That speed related volume thingy is ****** annoying!!!
