![]() The offside rear number plate light is not working on my newly acquired 75, the near side light is working.
Checked the offside bulb, and although the filament was intact, I put a put a new bulb in, but the light was still not working. After much reading of various threads on this subject in this forum, am I right in concluding that the likely cause is a defective PCB in the light assembly/plinth? From the following thread, the PCB is underneath some very sticky foam/mastic which must be removed in order to affect a repair, and then a replacement for foam/mastic must be sourced and applied to provide a waterproof seal for PCB. Would it be quicker to just purchase and fit a new light assembly, which costs £52? https://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/for...11&postcount=4 |

![]() You can just use silicone to reseal it, or hard wire the bulb holder bypassing the pcb. That's what I did when I fitted leds 😎
Just to add, make sure the copper bulb holders are clean . Sent from my SM-A145R using Tapatalk |

![]() Exactly What I did with mine Ron. Did it many years ago and never had any problems since.
