New brakes fitted but a knocking sound from the rear...
Had the new brakes fitted today and they've begun to bed in nicely
However when braking from speed to a dead stop (or to very slow coming to a stop) there's a small knocking from the rear n/s caliper region Everything has been removed, cleaned and re-fitted twice to ensure nothing has been missed Has anyone any idea what this could be (i.e. pad moving about a little & needs bedding in more etc...). Could it be anything to do with the handbrake shoes at all? Thanks for any/all ideas |

When you say knocking is it a high or low pitched noise ???
High pitch could be a nail in the tyre with the head hitting the ground. |
