27k miles, facelift 2.5V6 Connoisseur SE **SOLD**
My beautiful '04 facelift 2.5 Connoisseur SE auto is up for sale.
27k miles recorded, and absolutely genuine, as evidenced by the condition of the car. * Finished in white gold (GMN) with unmarked sandstone leather. * Excellent Serpents, shod with matching Dunlop SportMaxxes, all with 5mm of tread * Tilt/slide sunroof * Rear electric blind * Cruise control * Rain-sensing wipers * Electric heated front seats with driver's memory * Belts/pulleys/waterpump/thermostat housing done by Andy Willi a few months ago * Balance vis, courtesy of Stocktake, recently replaced * Aircon recently properly serviced/regassed by local specialist * WinCE DD unit fitted (no TV, steering wheel controls need connecting) * Genuine Rover fitted rubber boot liner * Chrome/leather gearstick * Plenum bone dry, regularly checked - Jule's plenum kit fitted/spyhole mod done * Bonnet cable mod done * K+N filter * Full-sized Serpent spare, no tyre, needs refurb to match the others' condition * 6 months MoT (no advisories) I had intended to have the gearbox fluid changed by Trikey, but haven't got round to it yet. Everything works as it should and I have 2 keys that work properly. The car was supplied new to a gentleman in Sheffield - he bought it as a retirement gift to himself. He sold it to my friend with 20k-ish miles recorded, my friend had it for 3 years and I bought it from him last year. Prior to my ownership, its been garaged all its life. Its never been smoked in. In my friend's ownership, all the 'Forum' mods/updates were done and he regularly removed the wheelarch liners to clean under them! The original service history was lost by the first owner's family unfortunately. There's the odd invoice in a folder, but that's it. Its been stored in a heated garage since last October - its had the occasional run out if the roads were dry/salt-free, just to keep everything moving. I'm only selling the car because, being honest with myself, its just not going to get used. The garage its been in since last year will be unavailable in a few weeks time, and we simply don't have the space at home for what is a 3rd vehicle. Asking £2650. I'm near to junctions 29/30 of the M1 motorway, and would happily meet up somewhere mutually convenient if you're travelling to view. Pete

I'm surprised that this hasn't been snapped up yet. It's a bargain for somebody. GLWS

Just wish I had a garage, I wouldn't like to own a car in that condition and just leave it parked on the road. It needs to go to a good home and get thrashed on the weekends. Good luck with the sale.
