Steve - Thank you, these dimensions.
Ok, here's an update. The spring dimensions for this to work 100% are 220mm length x 4mm wire x 21mm internal diameter, 29mm outside diameter. Looks like its possibly 176.75 newtons too. They compress down to 120mm when boot closes. The spacers are just a section of steel tube with a 20mm internal diameter, 35mm long, 3mm wall thickness. Then you need a washer with a 20mm hole in centre, and the outside diameter of this washer needs to be slightly larger than the od of the spring.

Please tell me the brand of the material springs, and the thickness of plates made of nylon. The second washer nylon installed in the spring and there holding up?"

Yes, that's correct. The spacers are stainless steel. The plastic parts are made from Delrin at 30mm diameter. This is then drilled at 19mm to be an interference fit to the struts. It is parted off at 3mm length. Then for the opposite end of the spring, again 30mm OD x 6mm length with 3mm turned down to an interference fit, so it will push fit into the end of the spring. This then has a 6mm hole through the centre. The metal washers are 18mm x 6mm penny washer for the small end of the strut, and a 25mm x 6mm penny washer for the other end.
The springs are not a particular brand. I have these specially made by a local spring manufacturer, as the correct specifications do not come as a standard spring.
Hope this helps.
