First reading this sentence I assumed you soldered on correct size plugs as there are 2 size connectors. but it seems like you cut off the plugs and soldered the wires together. If this is the case it cannot be the blue and yellow connectors, so if pretensioner fault has been intelligently diagnosed you must have a internal fault with a pretensioner on your old seats and on the seats you bought, unlucky but I have known it to happen.

The pretensioner power supply lead plugs into the cartridge, these sometimes get changed as a means of fitting a new connector, sometimes they are not plugged in correctly and the 2 tiny pins get bent, or were never plugged in fully during manufacture. These are the most common faults on a pretensioner that has not discharged.

To eliminate the pretensioners in one step, remove the seats and fit faultless pretensioners, I have a pair (Not free unfortunately) if you cannot get a pair. hopefully the light will go out.

This fault is intermittant, so the suggestion regarding the plug to the cartridge being dodgy could be true.
As i am up against it timewise, i would be happy to take your pretensioners, and pay you for them.

If you pm me a price, i can pay you at meet if we fit them.
