Speaker upgrade
Just fitted a Pioneer 8600Bt single din unit. Looks really nice, has everything I need and a terrific sound which would be far better with decent speakers.
My 1.8 club has, I assume the basic speakers and I wondered if anyone could recommend which speakers to use |

I got myself these speakers:
http://www.conrad.nl/ce/nl/product/3...250-W?ref=list They start at 30hz and finish at 30.000 hz. And will give a crisp and deep sound with a 4x45 or 4x50 watt radio. The price is very nice to. It will be difficult to find speakers with a bigger range at the same true wattage. Just don't fall for those advertised values like '300 watt RMS !!!!'. Cause most of it is total BS. Besides, having 300 watt RMS with a 4x50 watt radio is completely useless. (unless you truly believe that 'more watt' equals 'harder/better sound').

Ah, now more confused. Coolcat says Component speakers but these Conrad ones are coaxial.
Coolcat, I saw the Edge 360 speakers you recommended for £24.99. Are they just a straight swap or is there more to it than that. I also see Halfords have the 360V2 which seems to have some other bits and pieces with them, cost about £44. |

Jeff (coolcat) does this for a living so I'd go for his recommendation.
