This week, the car has had a new air intake tube fitted, as the original had rotted away, and it was one of those jobs that hadn't been attended to. This was brought about because, intermittently, the bonnet had been almost impossible to close, and despite endless checking of the release mechanism, and doing all of the usual jobs, we still couldn't get the Nearside bonnet lock to work properly. So, this week, the front was stripped, to inspect the situation. It was found that the cable to that bonnet catch was kinked, and had let in water. As a result, new cables, and catches have been fitted, and now the bonnet shuts without fault!

Also meant to add that the car has had a Klarius backbox fitted, which, at last means that it has exhaust pipes that are visible from the back of the car. It's made the car noticeably more refined, and looks better too! I spent some time polishing and waxing the ZT today, ready for tomorrow's meet at Riverside, in Glasgow. (It had already started raining, just as I took the photos, unfortunately!)

Looking superb that!

I was/am very pleased with the quality of the Klarius back box, they fit well and sound great. 6 months and 8000 miles after fitting it still looks in very good condition indeed.
