Default Selling MG ZT-T CDTi 136K '53 reg £500 o.n.o **SOLD**

For sale: MG ZT-T CDTi; manual; 53 reg; 136K miles; MOT until Jan 2015; taxed until end of June 2014. Located in Reigate Surrey. £500 or nearest offer.

Good bits:
  • New clutch and slave unit fitted Nov 2010 at mileage 98765
  • New dual mass flywheel fitted Nov 2010 at mileage 98765
  • Air-con fully functioning
  • Engine runs clean - always passes MOT emissions test with flying colours
  • Footwells dry - no water ingress
  • Turbo-diesel gives average 50mpg
  • Six-disc CD player
  • Face-off stereo unit

Bad bits:
  • Some (not major) damage, mainly on 1 door and sill (dents and scratches) but door fully functioning and secure
  • Acceleration feels sluggish at urban speeds - likely that turbo needs maintenance
  • Engine bay rather oily. Previous owner failed to renew PCV valve, which resulted in the PCV valve getting completely clogged up. This caused oil to leak under pressure into the engine bay. Looks worse than it is and doesn't affect the functioning of the engine. Valve fixed as soon as this happened.
  • Rear offside light housing loose (but attached)
  • Front offside fog lamp housing glass broken - but fog lamp still works
  • Non-matching front passenger seat in order to pass last MOT (integral side airbag had failed) - I have some seat covers available, if that's an issue
  • Brake warning light has just come on - probably pads due for renewal

(See photos, at:https://sites.google.com/site/mgzttpics)

It's a lovely car and has been my daily commute vehicle for a few years (40 miles each day). But now I work from home and don't need such a large car, so I'm very reluctantly selling it.

This car is perfectly driveable and useable as it is. Or it would make a fairly easy project for a perfectionist enthusiast who wants a car in perfect condition.

Please contact me to view/test drive the car.
