Default back box?

having done my wee holiday trip over 1000 miles, just turn into the road over speed bump and CLUNK

rear box has lost the pipe connecting to the middle section

so new back box required...question is where from? have seen one on euro car parts Klarius make ..and quite cheap...but are they any good?

I think on the petrols the general consensus is if you want quiet and refined OEM is the way to go. I have never had a pattern box that came up to the mark.

Bought mine from On-Line Automotive circa 3 years ago, the clamshell box fitted was OEM 1 piece system, their replacement was either wrong shape or straight outlet pipes as MG/ZT - as in picture below:

Didn't have to cut rear bumper, no contact where should not be, lasting well and not over noisy

I had a report last week of a Klarius fitting well to a V6, and being quiet too.

After nearly 15 years my back box went, a few days before the MOT was due.
I was after a full stainless system, but needed something quickly, so I bought one of those Klarius boxes from ECP for less than £50.

I wasn't expecting much, but I am very pleased with it!
A steal at the price and it looks quite well made.

It has only been on for a month, so early days yet.

The guy before me had a stainless steel system on my tourer but he couldn't live with the noise. So he went to quik-fit. Its ok I suppose but the tail pipes which are straight, are too short and are hidden. Probably ment for a saloon rather than a tourer.
It works ok but I would prefer to see the tail pipes. Steve

well took old one off car today ...was well a truly knackered, not only the pipe had broke but the baffles inside are all broken up and rattle around. Turned it on it's side and a load of rust bits fell out

AND it is a Klarius-RR331H....now it has turned down end pipe, mine is the MG ZT so should it have the straight pipe
