Default Tourer Rear seat stuck...

The large part of my tourer rear seat is stuck, the smaller section moves no problem.

The Button moves but the seat will not shift. Anybody got any suggestions please

Default back seat

I guess your rear seat opener is the same as on my 2003 cdti saloon.
If so the button is supposed to press down and release a bent, fairly thick rod and that rod will have moved forwards or back so the button is not engaging. I managed to release mine by pushing a wide flat blade screwdriver down past the button surround - put it took some time to get it to release.
Once you manage it make sure you re-position the rod for next time!

The centre seatbelt mechanism has failed.

Major surgery to get it to release without damaging something.

Cut the belt and find out they are like unicorn tears to get a replacement.

The seatbelt will not release unless the seat is locked AND in the upright position. There is a ball bearing inside prohibiting movement outside of these parameters.
