Default Good job except for snag at end

Just fitted a new Jules fan sorted damaged PCB with Jules advice fitted viton O rings inline thermostat and extra horn. All working nicely temp now in the high 80s heater nice. Shut bonnet must have slam panel slightly out of line bonnet releases but does not pop up properly accessed cables to put mole grips on each cable but not fully springing up. IDEAS PLEASE

Clean and grease up the two springs in the actual bonnet lid. the washers need to slide up and down freely..

Loosen the small bolts holding the bayonet holes the bonnet spears go into, then try lowering the bonnet and check they both enter cleanly. If they do you can tighten them up again.

You can also use the rubber adjusters to raise -lower the bonnet at rest (closed position)..

The problem is that whilst the catches have released they are not releasing enough to lift the bonnet

Sounds as though you need to pull harder on the cables while someone lifts the bonnet for you.....
