Early stroll with my little compact
Had my usual Sunday morning drive to the beach and a stroll with my new toy.
Still learning but enjoying playing, it was quite misty A little hand held shot of the moon as I left the house.

I like the shots with the "plastic" water, got the right light angle there!

Great pics again! Love the sea shots, very moody.
Have you taken up train spotting too?

Thanks for your kind remarks.
I am enjoying my new camera and if I really get the bug I might, just might invest in a DSLR but I need to master this little camera first. It's a little camera with a LOT more features than I have encountered before.

There's Cleethorpes Station right by where I was taking some of the pics so I poked the lens through the railings and took the shot of the train. Thought it was nice and colourful.

I liked the first sea shot, nicely lit and dramatic. The shot of the roller coaster and helter skelter was nicely framed as well.

I enjoyed the moon photo and the wave study, particularly as I am fascinated by those subjects. I liked the train shot, the colours. Did you use auto or manual?

For the moon shot I used the night starry sky hand held mode and auto for the waves. I am experimenting with manual but as yet am not getting it as sharp as auto. I hope to do a better moonshot in night mode from my tripod as soon as the conditions allow.
