Gareth
Yeah had issues same as described by others in the thread. I had to remove the plastic bracket bolted in behind the dash, cut some of the foam off the bulkhead to give a few mm more clearance and it's now wedged in nicely Took a bit of work, more than I expected really.

No problems with these units, thanks for your heads up with the original flash sale, some bargains were had!!!

I just like the bigger screen and the fit of the Navall units.

Steve.

You could obviously sell the unit for a lot more, near on £150+ on the bay if buying new. Its very sporting of you to offer it to others on here first at the same cost to which you had original paid.

Ok...some thoughts after a week of use.
Best place for Sat Nav Antenna?
I read somewhere they left there's behind the back of the unit...stuck to the metal crossmember....so Ive tried this, but it's seems a little slow to pick up a decent signal.
I presume I best move it to the top of the dash, maybe in the corner.
Find Mapfactor App OK, but much prefer Waze on my phone.....or Google Maps even but know they need data conection...Tssk!!!
The music Player (My biggest thing!!!!)
Has anyone worked out if you can use the Random play for all the folders, and not just selecting a folder and playing random in that folder?
A small quibble I know but I use this alot on my previous JVC Single Din.
Also...the random, does not go through the folder randomly complete.
If you turn the unit of.....it will play the same track again maybe 2 tracks in....ie it doesn't play the whole folder complete.....frustrating.
Know I know some have looked at another App for the music player...anyone with any thoughts updates on how they get on.
I'd like something That I could change the background colour to match the amber display that the 75 uses and with no adds!!!!.
Apart from these minor quibbles....very good, tho I actually think the WINCE version or at least the user friendlyness of it is nicer. (ie Pre-installed IGo Maps....Media player seems more flexible...simpler to use generally).

Have a look at my post #579. That player is pretty good and is customisable. Most of the options are way beyond what I need. But it let's me store and play the music ho I not to.

Default Passwords?

Anyone got the passwords for the user options and the other one?

And should I be playing around in there?

Thanks Dave...I remember your post now...I'll give it a try.

Has anyone fitted the MG7 surround instead of the generic one most of us have fitted?

I dont think any of us have as yet, if I am correct in saying that Colin_NI only posted about the MG7 fascia the other day.

The MG7 fascia is priced around £35 on ebay, £35 to £50 on aliexpress, and just £10 from Xtrons, but is on backorder.

I wondered if it actually would be any better?
would it not set the headunit further back.
I know we could move it forward as per our own brackets...maybe all we'd gain is angle, how the DD sits.
