Default White paint on White Gold R75.

This afternoon managed to drive over a white substance spilt in the middle of a busy road. Thought it was dry since no one else was avoiding it but would appear that was still wet and could have been been paint.

Now have some spatters down door panels (front and back) and behind the wheel arches.

The car was polished with Autoglym Super Resin about 6 weeks ago. Testing on a small area Autoglym Intensive Tar Remover seems to shift the white spots and I will then give it another wash and polish afterwards.

Assuming the white spots to be paint is there anything else I should do or indeed am I doing anything wrong.

Any suggestions (apart from silly s.. for not avoiding the mess on the road) would be gratefully received.

If the tar remover is taking it off, I'd carry on using that, then give it another coat of super resin when it's all off

the tar remover will remove any paint protection you have (polish wax etc). for a more deeper, more durable shine a layer of Auto glym extra gloss protection after the SRP will do wonders. its good on alloys to.

Thanks for the replies.

I was a bit worried that the paint from the road may have damaged or reacted with the car paint in some way but every thing seems to be ok - no marks at all.

Law of s.. isnt it. Have just got some mudflaps butnot got around to fitting them yet. Would have stopped most if not all of the paint if they had been fitted.
