I don't think many boy racers mod these cars, they are just not into them, and def not 75s.

Lol, you obviously dont read much on here then, some members just cant leave their car alone. They may not be boy-racers, but I reckon some come close and fit the bill quite nicely, naming no names of course.

I've not been on here that long... I personally think any dealer or monogram upgrades you do yourself are all good. Chrome and walnut the 75 to the max, dealer upgrades on zt also all good.

I am hopeful that we see these classy and great cars gain the respect they deserve - the 20 year rule sounds about right. I heard local to me some young guy in the village had a R75 and wanted to change and sold it for £49! I wish I had had a chance to look at it, even as a donor....
I do believe we shall be having the last laugh, as it were - and maintain these great motors. Yes, modding them is baffling.... I colour coordinate with carpets and so on, but leave engine etc well alone. :-))

Hi Wes - for me it's the obvious quality compared to a eurobox. A car that gives me a grin when driving deserves to be kept - so I keep mine and enjoy "tinkering" with it.

I have mentioned before that I see similarities to what happened in the 1960's with British motorcycles - the firms went bust and everyone dumped their British bikes for Japanese ones. Me included.

But By heck I wish I had kept my Tiger90, T100Daytona, Viper and the various Nortons I had. Not sure about the Matchless 650 tho - that was the most unreliable pile of p00 I have ever owned.

Still have a very early 190+ and spent hundred of hours and hundreds ney probably over a £1K restoring it so far many dealership upgrades fitted from the original fit plus a few not so dealership mods. Its a keeper to be honest but will be used regularly once MOTed.

There are a few owned by enthusiasts now who will keep them going. A lot more than a 51 Mondeo or Vectra

In have to admit they are both very good looking zt's. Took mine out for a spin today, great feeling and lots of road presence, they look the business and are getting better with age I think
