Default Rover 75 Tourer rear shocks

Dear colleagues

Discount MG Rover Spares (DMGRS) are offering complete assembly new rear shocks for 75s at £135 a pair. They are a batch that was for the Chinese version of the 75. I was going to buy some as mine are leaking and elsewhere new shocks (without the full assembly) are £200 a pair; but thought I'd get any views first.

Specifically, DMGRS - usually very reliable supplier - say they are OK for saloons or tourers. However I read somewhere that shocks for the tourer are different (even if both kinds will fit). Also, what about quality? It should be fine as the Chinese 75 spec was so close to the original. Or I might be wrong and it is better to get shocks made by a German firm.

Any thoughts welcome. It's usually well worth asking.

Cheers -

Lloyd
