There is a new Facebook group for the breakfast meets at Cafe Cwtch.

Knowing the feelings some people have towards Facebook I've set up the group as Public, so you don't need to join Facebook or the group to see posts and pics etc.

The link takes you to a page wanting people to log into Facebook, well that's what I'm getting.

Not everyone does or wants to use Facebook. Just post a thread on here with all the details and you’ll get any local club members attention that way. That’s why we have a forum after all

Yes, I always do anyway.

Thought it would be nice for those on the forum to be able to see the discussions and pics of the Facebook group, as not everyone wants to join a forum and would rather use Facebook.

Confused as to why it's asking people to join - it's set up as a Public group and therefore you should be able to see it without joining or being a member....

After doing some digging it appears that (some time ago now

). Facebook have changed their policies and now don't allow anyone without an account to view even public groups

Oh well... back to the drawing board - another solution I will find!
