Scotland has become a desert for T4 services let alone upgrades. There is only one T4 I am aware of at Dreadnaught in Callander but they don't have the upgrade software. The nearest definite upgrade would be Russ in deepest Yorkshire (Liversedge), possibly Brian near Newcastle.

Try contacting Cossie Dunc in Whitburn, he might have better info

The T4 map (link below) is as up to date as I can keep it. There was one in Dundee but no longer, he didn’t have the upgrade software anyway. The upgrade software was developed by a small group of club traders, Brian, Russ and Phil I think it was.

I think Russ does a postal service, send him your ECU and get it back with the upgrade installed but, obviously, it means being car-less for a few days. I can thoroughly recommend Russ. I got my 260 from a guy in the same village and Russ gave it a full health check and programmed a spare key.

Tell me about it. As I mentioned I bought the 260 from a guy in the same town as Russ and drove the 230 miles home . . . . in early January . . . . through frequent heavy snow showers . . . . and polished snow/ice on the roads around Russ' place.
