Default rear suspension

Hello, I'm looking for a garage near Doncaster that is prepared to take a look at my car after top and bottom rear suspension arms both sides have been replaced but I now have knocking from the rear when driving. I've checked and double checked the exhaust and that seems fine so I'm thinking something on the suspension has not been fitted correctly. Cheers, Dave

Who fitted the replacement parts Dave? I would ask them to have a look.

Oh I have, at first I thought it was the exhaust but that seems to be ok so now I'm looking at something not fitted right or not tightened up correctly. I'm supposed to be going back on Tuesday for another look. What I want is a guy who knows our cars near me in case they can't sort it, Cheers, Dave

Did you have new top mounts fitted to the hydraulic shock absorbers? Have forgotten to put the large washers on the top? Tightened them to much/ not enough.

No, just top and bottom arms fitted. Things were fine until the top arm collapsed. Dave

Default Rear suspension mechanic.

Hello again Dave,
I just noticed that you were looking for a mechanic.
A chap has been recommended to me . He's at Wheatley.
If you need his details, please pm me.
John.
