Yellow Warning Light
Hi to everyone
I have a 2004 Diesel ZT, yesterday driving to work the Yellow Warning light flashed (engine shape with a ?) for a split second both going to work and returning, this only seemed to happen at low speeds. The manual says that you can continue to drive but get to a garage for a check up asap ! can anyone shed any ideas what it is and can it be sorted by myself ?, look forword as always to your generous feedback. You really need to connect the car to a code reader to see what happened and to clear the codes or engine check light (If necessary)
Where are you located? If you put this in your profile local members may be able to help.

Is it just something the ECU throws up as a self-diagnostic check, or something? Always makes me nervous though

If it goes away then forget it; it is just to cause paranoia!

Try checking the low pressure sensor wires to the top of the fuel filter housing to ensure they are not trapped or routed excessively tight.
