Question for the extreme valeters
My new car stinks of dogs I've hoovered it till the carpet's bald, done all the fabric/carpets with foam upholstery cleaner, cleaned the plastics & the glass & it still stinks badly, it smells worse when you put the blowers on (hot or cold) could replacing the pollen filter do anything?

Sounds moreliks a fungal type infection in the aircon. Like Deano said above, try am aircon cleaning can. Halfords sell them IIRC.

if you have a home bargains type shop close by then the air con treatment bombs are £3 each instead of the £8 for the same ones in Halfords
Change the pollen filter to get maximum benefit - always worth having the air con drained, anti bacterial cleaned and then refilled thought - someone mobile will charge you around £100 in the summer, £80 in the winter. |
