red and green wire.....
hi guys,
some of you may have followed my post relating to my retrofit hi line sat nav and the problem of no sound............... well on peeling back the loom i find a red and green wire that has been cut and taped, i donnt know if this is essential. The car origionally had an ISO fitment to a aftermarket unit. i am thinking that this could be my issue with sound......any ideas???????!!!!!! |

Is the red/green wire on the harness you've installed or part of the harness in you car ?

On later cars there's a red green that is left with a cut end. It's the mute for installing a telephone. Unless this is touching earth, it will have no effect.
