You're right Steven, the amount of times people go on rolling roads expecting X figure only to be told a figure way down on this. The trouble is there are so many inexperienced people out there saying just put a panel filter and tailbox on and you will get another 50 hp, it just isn't like that in the real world. Certainly on normally aspirated engines it takes a lot of money, time and experience to get big increases in hp. Turbo'd engines are a lot easier and a different ball game, a good remap etc... can see some significant increases for a relatively small outlay.

my car recentally made (with a nackered plenum - has the dreaded rattle)
193 bhp atf 177 ft- lbs even with the noisy plenum it still goes like stink! and hit 146 mph (gps) on the autobahn's of germany there are a couple of zs's coming that last rollered at over 200bhp.

Sounds good I'm looking forward to seeing them. One area the pugs are good at is weight (around 875kg), they don't weigh much so any increase makes big difference
