hi , guys silly question for some maybe , but how do you attach a link to another site from here eg ... ebay... many thanks...

You can simply type (or copy and paste) the address into the post. For example:
Typing http://example.com will, when the you submit the post, come out looking like this when you read the post: http://example.com |

OK.... so how do you make a word in your descriptive text to become the link?
In other words if I type "Have a look at this" How do I create "...this" to beome the link
