Whoosh too late already gone! a free wood gear knob?
I was given the gear knob by Radi8or (Bob) which was kind of him.
I have sanded it down to the bare wood and re varnished it. The crack are now gone and it looks good as ou can see from the photo's but it just does not match the redness of my walnut interior. It looks more like light oak to me. So if anyone wants it and think it will match there oak interior then your welcome. Or if you think you can sand it again and apply a walnut stain prior to varnish then again your welcome to try. Simon. Should have said its for an auto!
