Default Zt 190 lpg - **SOLD**

Firstly sorry for the long post - I don't want to miss anything out. Secondly, I live in the heart of Norfolk and realise that this is not convenient for most people but I thought I would offer this car to fellow members first.

Having purchased Blackmagic's 190 SE () I am having to part with my first ZT. It is a Trophy Blue 190+ with almost 100K on the clock. I purchased her about three and a half years ago and following my first experience with a main dealer () I have maintained the car myself with fantastic support from this forum.

Mechanics
The car has had just had the main timing belt replaced again because when I had them done previously (about 30,000 miles ago at a cambelt specialist) the tensioner pulley was not replaced and subsequently failed. The car has therefore also recently had a new water pump, tensioner and idler pulley. I have receipts from Rimmers and photos of me doing the work.

At the same time it has had an oil and filter change, coolant change, spark plug clean and re-gap, air filter and pollen filter change.

In addition to the regular servicing and common checks (oil changes, plenum drains etc) I have in the time I have owned the car done the bonnet cable mod, fixed the vis motors, cured the leak in the boot, replaced a rear wheel bearing, fitted a new exhaust, replaced an oxygen sensor, had the aircon regassed and adjusted the handbrake properly.

The LPG system was fitted by an authorised dealer at a cost of £2,200 the year before I purchased the car and I have had it serviced at my local LPG specialist. The last service was in June this year. The system is great as you can more or less forget about it. It starts on petrol from cold and switches to gas after a mile or so. If it ever runs out of gas it switches back to petrol automatically.

For those of you who live in and around London I believe that it is congestion charge free. It is also less than 60p per litre and can be registered with DVLA for cheaper tax although I have never done this. If I was going to keep it then my LPG specialist said he would do it for me.

The car does not smoke or rattle and it pulls very well. The engine, steering, brakes etc still feel tight and strong and it really does feel like a much newer car (I know everyone says this but please come and try it for yourself - its true!)

Interior
The interior is in excellent condition. The alcantara seats have been revived with a bic (more great advice from this club ) and I have also given them a good clean and they have come up a treat. The drivers seat bolster you will not be surprised to know is showing some signs of wear but there are no rips, tears or any other damage anywhere.

The dash is, I believe, the 'Technical' finish rather than the smooth shiny one. I was going to change the instrument centre in the future to one with a message centre. In preparation for this I have fitted the necessary indicator stalk which will be left on the car.

Exterior
the bodywork as you can see from the pictures is pretty good. There are of course some minor stone chips and marks so it isn't perfect but more than presentable. The rear bumper has a couple of slight scuffs which are not noticeable from 3 feet away. The only noticeable body issue is a dent and scrape on the offside rear door / wheelarch. I did this on a concrete post. I can send closer pictures of this for anyone interested as it does not show up very well on the photos I have taken.

The other issue is that the wheels could do with a refurb. They are 'chrome shadow' (?) finish but personally I would get them done in silver if I was keeping the car. The tyres all have decent tread on them with the rears being Michelin Primacy's and the fronts being Nankang (I think).

If anyone is interested then please pm me and I will try to get any requested pictures sent back. I will not be in front of a computer after tonight again until either Tuesday or Wednesday night. I've put the price at £1950 ono and will gauge this clubs reaction on that.

If it does not sell in a couple of weeks then it will be that last resort for car sellers - Ebay! Thanks for looking.

Thanks - I hope so. It does have a long MOT (June 25th 2011) and is taxed until the end of November so is ready to drive away.

Default Sold

Sold the 190 to rizel23 - a great guy who will clearly look after and enjoy the car. I must admit that I did feel a little watching my first ZT driving away!
