Default "mapping"

Hi,
Just bought myself a '52 2.0L diesel 75 in BRG with just 60,000 and FSH.....love it.....so thought I would join the club. A friend of mine says I should get it 'mapped' to improve power, performance and MPG. This means nothing to me....any suggestions, experiences or cautionary tales??? Thanks.

Synergy 1 or 2 box aka RoverRon box

http://tuning-diesels.com/

Oh and then replace the PCV valve (from your BMW or Land Rover dealer, BMW part number B11.12.7.799.224) and the EGR valve http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Rover-75-ZT-Di...item3a62235fff

Welcome to the Club.

Do a search for synergy 2 and Rover Ron.

Look here as well http://tuning-diesels.com/index2n.htm

Default Mapping

I can't speak for the remapping of a 75, however, I have had my A4 remapped and the difference to how it was is remarkable. It amazed me to think that without any physical changes to the engine such a huge improvement in power could be achieved.

I would say do it, you will be driving around with an even bigger grin on your face.

Advantage of a synergy is you can take it off and put it on another or sell it
