I'm off to Canada at the end of the month if he's got a passport and change of T-shirt. I'm sure we could squeeze him in.

Colin - I've just looked on AA Routefinder and your trip from Croydon to the hotel at LA6 1JF seems to take you right past J14 on the M40. I am just down the road from J14 (see Stratford-upon-Avon to the south west of M40). Perhaps we could meet up and transfer Fred. What do you think? My R75 (VOOT) is not a happy bunny at the moment - see http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...ead.php?t=7794 and would benefit from seeing Fred. I have a couple of very nice places for Fred's 'Grand Tour'. Regards, Simon. PS. When is the Holker Hall do? |

Ah, thanks Peter.
That stuffs my idea then! I thought EMS was referring to the Holker Hall do in Cumbria. The route from Croydon to there would go right past J14 on the M40 (a gnat's away from Stratford-upon-Avon). Croydon to Kent is a different kettle of fish though. |
