If there are too many cars just exit through the sunroof, if you dont have a sunroof, park next to someone with a sunroof and climb through windows to exit through their sunroof, simples !

The ethos of the nano is that people are there to help YOU fix, repair, improve and maintain your car. There are specialist parts of this such as T4 sessions that have designated operators and owners who gladly give their time and equipment free of charge, I and a couple of others will be there to diagnose and repair as many bits and bats as we can fit in, again quite specialised areas But, in general we are there to help, guide, educate and as always, learn a little ourselves.

We are not there to do it for you if you are capable of getting stuck in yourself, we will will be working alongside you removing and replacing the bits but the ultimate responsibility is yours. It's just nice to know the expertise is on hand should it be needed

The nano meet crew do recognise that there is the exception to this, be it through ill health and the like or not knowing one end of a spanner to the other but please offer to do what you can, making a cuppa, walking the dog, having a chat with the missus so she doesn't get on my case later for ignoring her

Looking forward to this more as it draws closer
Totally get this.

The main reasons i'm attending is to hopefully meet likeminded people, learn & enjoy.

I have no problem i doing stuff just that i've found wiyh these cars there are so many "quirks" that having people around to ask advice from untill you get better aquainted with them takes some of the stress out of doing things & with a bit of luck the confidence to tackle more coplicated issues.

After all you're on your own on the drive at home.

Getting closer all the time

Regards

Paul
