Think I have a dodgy coolant temperature sensor on the van, it's been running hot today, right up to almost max team on the gauge, not quite into the red,mthen it drops slowly to around 85 deg, and sits at that for a while then slowly rises again, and repeats the process, thermostat must be working or the temperature wouldn't drop. Time to get the test lamp'out again, and check if there's a fuse blown.
