The Typhoon kit can be built as several aircraft, decided which to build it as, may I introduce RB389 "Pulverizer IV"!

It was flown by Flt Lt Harry Hardy of the RCAF on 96 operations from 25th Feb 1945 until the end of his tour on the 24th March, that's 96 operations in 28 days Pulverizer IV carried on with 440 Squadron then two other RCAF squadrons, it was last reported at 83 Group Disbandment Centre at Dunsfold (yep, home of Top Gear) on 22nd August 1945 where it is believed to have been broken up.

It was the 4th Typhoon in Flt Lt Hardy's care to bear the Pulverizer name
Pulverizer 1 (MN311) was damaged in a forced landing in Sept 1944.
Pulverizer 2 (MP149) was hit by flak during the Battle of the Bulge Christmas Day 1944 but Hardy baled out.
Pulverizer 3 (RB342) was damaged by flak 24th Feb 1945.

Thanks for the suggestion freddie but I suspect they are 12th scale. The cat curled up in a ball sleeping is 3 cm, 24th scale works out at 29" . . . . blooody big cat! 12th scale works out at a much more realistic 15".

Oh the joy of being able to give children back to the owners We have had 2 extra kids here all day from the girls school, they were like ravenous beasts! We need to go shopping again tomorrow as they have eaten us out of house and home, even the door frames have been gnawed To make it worse Sophie's sister came around for a visit and brought her 2 kids as well 6 kids running riot around the house quickly sent me running for cover into the shed to paint a set of straights I'm going to use as my winter wheels
